There is a fine line between making a film on a real story and making one that tells a real story. Taapsee Pannu starrer Thappad firmly falls in the latter category. A powerful and impactful film, Thappad makes you angry and uncomfortable, and, at the same time, it makes you question the everyday misogyny that you willingly ‘adjust to’ in real life. Director Anubhav Sinha refuses to normalise issues that are taken for granted in a regular setup, instead he asserts and reasserts that even if it is ‘just one slap’, why and how can a man get away with it so easily?

  IPL 2021: With Josh Hazlewood having pulled out of this year's Indian Premier League, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) took to Twitter to send their fans into a tizzy, teasing them about a probable replacement for the bowler. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) took to social media to tease fans with a possible replacement for  Josh Hazlewood , who recently pulled out of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. The Australian bowler was set to depart for India, but decided to skip the tournament and spend some time with his family. Mumbai:  Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's 23-year-old son Aryan Khan did not get bail in the drugs-on-cruise case today from a Mumbai sessions court that reserved the order till Wednesday, sending him back to jail. Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan - Accused No. 1 for the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) - allegedly " indulged in illicit drug trafficking ", and was in touch with "some persons abroad who appear to be a part of an International Drug Network" to procure a "bulk quantity of hard drugs", the anti-narcotics agency said in a statement to the court on Wednesday. The NCB today told the court that "evidence showed"  Aryan Khan frequently took banned substances ; Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh, representing the central agency, also referred to on-record statements to claim that Aryan Khan has been consuming drugs for the last few years.
